What this website stores on your device, and what it does not.

In short: we only use Google Analytics if you choose to accept analytics cookies. Google Maps also only loads if you ask it to. You can change your analytics choice at any time below.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Related technologies such as local storage work the same way. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) treats them alike: anything that is not strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for needs your consent before it is stored.
2. Cookies we set
We use Google Analytics only with your consent. It helps us understand aggregated website use, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrived here. We do not use advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or heatmaps.
Google Analytics. If accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. These distinguish visitors and help create usage statistics. We configure the service to anonymise IP addresses.
3. Browser storage we use
If you choose to load the map, we store a single value in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again on every page:

This value records a choice you made, contains no personal information, and is never sent anywhere. It is only created after you press the button.
4. Third-party services
Google Maps — only if you ask
Our location is shown using a Google Maps embed. This embed is not a picture: loading it runs Google's mapping software in your browser, which shares your IP address with Google and allows Google to set its own cookies on your device.
Because of that, we do not load it automatically. You will see a placeholder with a button, and nothing is requested from Google until you press it. If you would rather not, the "Open in Google Maps" link takes you to Google directly, where Google's own terms and privacy policy apply.
Fonts — hosted here
Our typefaces are stored on this website itself. Nothing about them is requested from Google or any other third party, so viewing the fonts shares nothing about you with anyone.
Booksy
Online booking is handled by Booksy. The booking links on this site take you to Booksy's own website, where Booksy's cookies, terms, and privacy policy apply. No Booksy cookie is set while you remain on clearskinclinic.co.uk.
5. Changing your mind
You can change your analytics preference at any time. Withdrawing consent prevents Google Analytics from loading on future page visits; you can also delete existing cookies in your browser settings. To withdraw your agreement to the map, clear this site's data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy, then "Cookies and site data").
